At the forefront of research into nuclear fusion with its exciting potential as a long term, environmentally friendly energy source for future generations, excellent opportunities now exist for Physicists to join them at their site in Oxfordshire. Operating Europe's flagship fusion experiment and other research facilities, these will support the next generation of fusion machines.

As a Physicist, your responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of modelling codes, in particular for the design and specification of performance upgrades and diagnostic enhancements. You will also be required to carry out analysis and interpretation of measurements from these systems.

Degree qualified in Physics or equivalent, you will support the operation of complex heating and diagnostic systems on fusion machines.
